- Pour water into the pan at the rate of 1:3, for 300 g of dumplings, take 900 g of liquid.
- After boiling, add to the water:
- salt – one teaspoon;
- bay leaves – 1-2 pcs;
- allspice 2-3 pcs;
- vegetable oil 1 tbsp (two tbsp for store-bought).
- Add the dumplings.
- Stir (to prevent them from sticking to the bottom of the pan) every two minutes during cooking.
- Wait for the water to start boiling again.
- Keep track of the time.
- Turn down the heat.
- Cook for 5 to 12 minutes, depending on the size and manufacturer of the product.
- After cooking, use a slotted spoon to put the dumplings on plates.
- Add sour cream or mayonnaise or other sauces to taste.
How to cook dumplings in the microwave
If you have a craving for dumplings but don’t have anything to cook them in, use the microwave.
- Take a deep ceramic bowl.
- Put 10 dumplings in it.
- Pour boiling water over them.
- Cover with a microwave lid.
- Choose the highest power setting.
- Set the time to 15 minutes.
- Pause the process every 3 minutes to stir.

- Pour the semi-finished products into the multicooker bowl.
