Folk signs about the weather

Nowadays, with the advent of the Internet and the development of many sciences, we can find answers to any question. For example, what weather awaits us in the coming days or months, but this was not always the case. Once upon a time, there was no Internet, no weather centre, and many other things.

Our ancestors independently created weather forecasts based on folk signs. By constantly observing the behaviour of animals and plants, they were able to make accurate weather predictions for the near future. They could find out in advance when there would be bad weather and rain, and when there would be clear, good weather. Using folk signs, they predicted what autumn would be like, what to expect in winter, when real spring would come, and how long summer would last.

Folk omens were created based on observations of natural conditions over many years, which is why they remain relevant today.

Thanks to folk signs, adults and children can independently create a weather forecast for the near future and check how accurate it is.
